This lecture will provide an overview of the growing prevalence of dry eye disease, its effects on quality of life and the many ways in which it can be managed and treated. It will outline the changing face of the dry eye disease sufferer, and the numerous and growing causes of the disease. It will also address the main recommendations for diagnosing and managing dry eye disease and related conditions.
